  look inside yourself. you have all the answers. there is no need to "believe" in anyone or anything. develop your own personal relationship with the divine. stop looking for some'body' to show you the path.

  what is the stupidest thing a jw ever told you?

  we all know that they say a lot of stupid things, but what really topped the cake?.

  for me, it was an elder telling me i was progressing really well when my meeting attendance was down and my field service hours were slipping.

  .....we just watched a scary film - the ring anyone else seen it?.

  its about a video tape that you watch and then seven days later you die!

  (this wont spoil it if you've not seen it because thats what it says on the box!).

  The Scriptures

  the scriptures are some of the oldest books in the world known to man with dates included now how do you suppose that can be, that these books have survived this long, many thousands of years ?

  hmmmmmm i don't see any other book on the shelf as long as this book not even any other history book as far as that goes, now i wonder why a book that supposedly is nothing more than a lie or uninspired as some of you put it would survive that long.

  i wonder how christianity has lasted as long as it has if it is all just a lie.

  KGB, I cannot accept that a supreme deity alleged to have created the human race and to be concerned for its welfare would inspire men to be judgMENTAL towards one another over nationality, wearing apparel, what they eat, when they work or do not work, or any other frivolous things that the scriptures inspire.

  what is the stupidest thing a jw ever told you?

  They wanted her to sign a paper to send to NY to take her off the pioneer list. they wanted her to resign. My dad told them she was sleeping they would have to come back later and talk to her in person. Well they never did, we found out later that one of the elders forged her name and sent it off.

  My heart crys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  and exactly WHO inserted that claim? Again, I beseech you to investigate deeper and further back in time. How many stories in the bible are transparent modifications from ancient (pre-jesus) Egypt and Assyro-Babylonian myths?
